Kenneth Brody McCasland is a Graduated BFA Fashion Design student from the Academy of Art University. 

He is currently working as a Digital Fashion Designer for Mobile Gaming company Muus Collective.

During his final year at the Academy of Art University, while producing and constructing his 2020 Senior Collection titled The Void, the world was hit with COVID-19. With no chance of a Graduate Spring Showcase, Brody took his entire collection into quarantine. By May of 2020, after 10 weeks of solitary work Kenneth Brody handed in his eight couture garments. 

Immediately following this Kenneth Brody was featured in the 2020 November Issue of Vogue Hong Kong, The Class of 2020 by PAPER, CFDA Fashion Future Graduate Showcase 2020, and i-D/ARTSTHREAD GDGS2020.

His education has equipped him with an arsenal of tools that include, but are not limited to, CLO 3D Virtual Fashion, 3D Virtual Rendering, pattern drafting, draping, technical construction, millinery, accessories, fashion Illustration, knitwear design, software including Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Premiere Pro, Gerber, CLO3D and beyond. 

Born and raised in Southern California, he transplanted to San Francisco to pursue his educational goals. During his time at AAU he was involved in the student run fashion organization, Beyond the Front Row. Kenneth sat on the board of directors starting in 2017 and culminated in the summer of 2019. His involvement with Beyond the Front Row spurred the production of the annual fashion event, Runway Repurposed.

Immediately proceeding his graduation; Brody had an Internship with Fashion Designer Edwin Mohney, assisting Mohney on their line of eclectic and upcycled garments.

 

In 2022 he worked as a Freelance 3D Garment Designer with Beyond the Runway. Here he worked as an expert 3D Clothing Designer to produce Virtual 3D Garments for major fashion brands. This included high quality renderings and assets. His skills for this role are an expert knowledge of CLO3D, virtual pattern work, rendering texture, fabric simulation, custom avatars, lighting, animations, rigging, high-resolution stills, motion and interactive turnable garments/products.
